We stayed at a unique airbnb in the mountains in Georgia, it was beautiful! Georgia is so lush and green, it's incredible. The host family and volunteers built rooms out of 1980s Soviet wine barrels on their property.

Some French friends we met on Instagram (also traveling on a Ural) spent all winter at this Airbnb location with the Georgian family and helped build the wine barrel rooms! They used Workaway to find this spot to spend a few months. Workaway is a website where people can post about work projects they have and they will host/feed volunteers that then help with their work projects. This work project was building the wine barrel rooms and our French friends helped build the one we stayed in! Austin and I tried to use the Workaway website during our time in Morocco to work at a surf and yoga hostel but no one responded to our requests, we tried 12 places, ha. That’s ok, we loved our time in Morocco without that opportunity.
