Our time in Antarctica had to come to an end eventually. I could have stayed another month, it was such an incredible place! Leaving Antarctica meant back to the Drake Passage and our work shifts. It also meant "welcome back swells and stormy waters".

The first morning, I felt really sick and ate breakfast and quickly threw up since I was already so seasick...but, after that, I felt great on the whole way back to Argentina so I was relieved. Austin on the other hand, struggled more with the seasickness again and threw up many times throughout the crossing. He puked into the Drake Passage from every single deck on the boat: 5 different places!
