We walked around this village for a bit before having lunch and found that it was beautiful. The homes were nestled into the mountainside with streams running between them and most of the side streets (not shown in the photo) were older stone. I liked the church in the back of the photo, it looked stunning with the greenery surrounding it. The photo of course does not do it justice, ha!

For lunch, there was one spot in the whole village so we went there and met a kind man named, Jermone. He asked us to watch his dog and bicycle as he ran a quick errand before sitting down to sip on a beer at the table next to us. He is Swiss and has family all over Switzerland so we exchanged contact information so we could stay in touch and perhaps meet up again in the future!
