I found a glacial lake hike in the Kaçkar Mountains. The road to the trailhead was rigorous and we rode in 2WD nearly the entire time. Austin and Domino crushed it!

When we got to the trailhead, we had chai at a local cafe and then hiked to the glacial lake. We jumped in the lake (coldest water either of us have been in ), made lunch, and relaxed a bit before trekking back. On the ride back home, we rode through thick mist so it was quite eerie and wet.

It was a stunning drive and hike overall and an excellent final day in Turkey!
