We flew back to Paris to apply for our visas for China. We currently have residency in France since we have a specific French visa so it made sense to apply here rather than back in the USA which is much further and more expensive to get to. It has been so much fun being back in Paris and seeing the friends that we made nearly 1 year ago when we landed in France from Canada with our bike.

The appointment process itself was straight forward after getting all of the paperwork and trip documentation from our guide, Jah, however, China is challenging to take a vehicle in to so we found a motorcycle tour company that pools together multiple bikers to split the cost of a guide. He sent us all of the documentation we needed to fill out the application which was helpful and required. We plan to go to China this September, we are SO excited and are tickled that the visa appointment went so well. We will go back to the visa center to pick up our passports / visas in about 1 week, yahoo!! I assume it should be all fine but I will fully believe it once we have our passports back in hand with the visa inside!
