The Ganesha Puja kicked off the wedding celebrations and is traditionally a "good luck" party for the bride and groom as the wedding week commences. This was the first event we wore our Indian attire and we both were very excited!

The night began with delicious cocktails and appetizers, I loved the "Megha" drink which was an elderflower spritz (yum!). As the night went on, there was an amazing live band and that's when the dancing started. It was so much fun seeing all of Austin'c college buddies and also meeting some new friends throughout the night! We got to briefly chat with Megha and Utsav for a couple of minutes on the dance floor but they were a hot commodity so it was quick. I made a new friend, Mirjam, who was a plus 1 for Max (a German guy that went to Boston College).

After many hours of dancing, talking, and celebrating, the clock struck 4:30am and Megha invited us all for "dinner" in a different courtyard. She said, "call it dinner or breakfast, whatever you like, but please come join us!" We were a bit shocked but we followed her to the courtyard and found a huge buffet of Indian and Lebanese food, it was delicious, even at 4:30am, ha!
