La Paz, one of Bolivia’s capital cities, is a big city built in the mountains. Since there are so many steep hills?the city is connected by gondolas. The gondolas are their public transportation. The city itself sits at 3,640 meters (11,942 feet), phew! Just walking around and up the hills was a workout. It was really incredible to see this city since it was like nothing we have seen before. The gondolas also reminded me so much of skiing and taking gondolas in the mountains in Colorado, ha!
