One of Austin's old roommates (Utsav) from college is from Delhi, India and he invited Austin and me to his wedding in Delhi! Both Austin and I were so stoked to celebrate Utsav and Megha and also experience an Indian wedding. If you don't know much about Indian weddings, they are multiple days full of colorful attire, an unimaginable amount of dancing & music, and delicious food & drinks!

Austin and I flew in a few days early to get settled, explore Old Delhi, and figure out our attire..remember, we are traveling with backpacks and don't have a tux nor a dress/high heels to wear to a fancy wedding! We spent one afternoon and evening in a big shopping mall searching for a snazzy tux (plus shoes, shirt, bow tie, etc.) and dress (plus all accessories!). I also picked out an Indian Lehenga which is a long skirt paired with a top and a scarf/shawl. We got the tux and Lehenga tailored and we were all set!! It was such a successful day of getting everything we needed, we were both thrilled.

Austin tried on a black formal Indian tuxedo jacket but opted for the dark red velvet tuxedo:
