Austin and I found a church in Antigua and ended up meeting a group of missionaries and locals. They invited us out to lunch, and we ended up spending the whole afternoon together. It was a blast and so much fun to hang out with a big group of friends!

During the day, we were hanging out in the main plaza and saw that there were three puppies (Border Collies) for sale. One of our friend’s moms loves Border Collies, and hers is getting quite old. Our friend immediately had the idea to call his siblings, ask if everyone would pitch in, and buy their mom a puppy. I thought that was utterly insane, but they said she would absolutely love it, ha! He ended up buying the pup and brought it home that day.

I loved all of it because it was a chance to hold and play with puppies—and gosh, puppies are one of my most favorite things in the world—so I was in heaven.
