We met Nikki when she and a few others were looking at our bike as Verdenskortet was closing. We started chatting with her and picked up quickly she loved traveling, too; she has lived all over the world! After talking for about 20 minutes, she invited us to stay with her, her husband (Per), and their son (Levi) in Aalborg. It was about an hour away which was a stretch since we had already driven plenty that day but we couldn't pass up the offer, we were very excited to get to know them better!

We had a blast having dinner, chatting, hot tubbing, and chatting more with them. Nikki grew up in the UK, Per is from Denmark, and Levi is their son who is 9. The next day we all made a big brunch, did yoga, roasted in the sauna, watched a funny movie with Levi and Per, and went out to Street Food / walked around the harbor with Per and Levi. Street Food was a spot with multiple vendors right on the water in the harbor so we explored the harbor after dinner as well. It was a beautiful time with them! They also had two adorable pups that we got to love on :)

Thank you, Nikki, Per, and Levi for your hospitality, we loved spending time with you three!
