We spotted a Shakira concert advertisement and realized we were going to be in the same town on the night of the concert! We quickly started looking into tickets and found some last-minute ones for about $35 each. We said, “Heck yeah! Let’s do it!” In high school, I loved Shakira so much, so my inner high school self was screaming on the inside!!

She sang all of my favorite songs and also threw in a more 'recent' song that is a duet that I didn’t even expect her to sing, “La bicicleta”! It was such a fun night of singing along and shakin’ our hips.

I haven’t been to a big concert in years, but I was shocked by how 95% of the people around us were filming on their phones the entire concert.
