The Guvernoren ship was a whaling vessel that wrecked in 1915, it was the largest factory ship in the area prior to WWI. It was fitted with modern engines & cookers for blubber, meat, & bone and whaling byproducts processing machines. The leftover residue from the blubber cooking was used for animal feed and fertilizer. The ship carried 22,610 barrels of oil too. All 85 men on the ship survived and were saved by other whaling ships operating in the area.
