We met Jarrah back in Morocco in early 2023 when we were in a surf town surfing and relaxing. He and his best mate, Lee, and they were both out traveling between jobs. They both are big surfers and both are from Australia. We also hiked a big, snowy mountain in Morocco so we had quite a bonding experience scaling a mountain in the peak of winter with crampons on and in high winds. We all had a great chuckle about that trek when we reunited in Australia.

Jarrah lives in a beautiful beach town north of Sydney, it was an amazing little town! We could walk to the beach from his place and also walk to multiple yummy cafes for brunch and coffees. Visiting him and catching up was such an absolute blast! It is always so special seeing a familiar face on the road. He just bought a sail boat and is actually planning to start a massive trip circumnavigating the world in the boat with his buddy Lee starting April 2025. It was unreal to hear about his plans and I can't wait to hear about how the journey goes! Austin and I want to hop on board for a stint of it too ;) It would be pretty neat to learn how to sail since I currently don't know anything about it!

We sadly didn't get a photo with him so hopefully we do next time we catch him, hopefully on his sailboat!
