We found an English-speaking church in Tangier where we ended up meeting a lot of Americans! The world felt a little smaller as we started to get to know one of the couples we met. We started talking with a couple there and ended up going out to dinner with them after church and we even got brunch all together the next morning before we got onto the ferry back to Europe.

The couple is learning Arabic and also planning to start a business in Tangier! They felt called and move to northern Morocco and are building their lives in Tangier.

It was such a blessed time with them and so refreshing to be around other believers in the midst of our crazy, inconsistent travels. They have friends in Tunisia they connected us with so we plan to meet more new friends once we are in Tunisia. They are also visiting some of the friends in Tunisia at the same time we will be so we will get to see them again too!
