The Big Dalmuti is a Dutch game that my ship roomie, Camilla, brought from the NLD. We didn't have a rule book but Camilla said she knew the rules and would teach us. It is a unique game since it plays to the privilege of the #1 and #2 spots (#1 is the Big Dalmuti and #2 is just 2nd place) and disadvantages the last two spots (the "stinky penguins" in our case). Throughout the game, if someone stays in the #1 spot for multiple rounds, they can change their name, create rules, and order people to do anything. Some of the names that were part of the game were: Lady Camilla Ruler of the Clouds Above and Below, Lord Evan, King Casper, Ruler, Ellie (that was Austin, lol), and Queen Ellie.

We played the game 5-6 different evenings and at the end of the trip, Camilla gifted Austin & me the game and mentioned: "don't look up the rules because we played the special Camilla version the past 2 weeks." We all chuckled after her comment and plan to not look up the rules, ha!

We played with some of our new friends from the ship: Camilla, Nick, Dennis, Casper, Drew, Evan, and Mafu
