Austin met Andy and Magda in Norway as they were hitchhiking for vacation around the country. Andy is from Scotland and Magda is from Sweden. They now are married, have a 3 year old named Rory, and a sweet 4 month year old named Shona. They live on an organic farm, run a 3-unit B&B (Thistle Inn), and run a cafe on the weekends. It was such a peaceful time with them.

We shared meals, went swimming at the lake, explored the farm, enjoyed the cafe, and loved talking/spending time with all of them! It was adorable, Rory would go pick wildflowers and bring them to us throughout one do the days, he was so thoughtful at a young age. 

We also learned that in Sweden (and I believe Norway too), parents have their babies nap outside. If it’s winter, they bundle them up, if it’s summer, they appropriately dress them as needed. Magda said that her babies sleep a lot better outside during the day so she’s on board with it!
