Today, we went to the Basilica of the Holy Blood in Bruges. In the basilica they show a preserved cloth with Jesus' blood on it. The church was beautiful, quiet, and everyone was respectful of giving space and allowing each other to take time when looking at the blood of Christ. The church shows the blood of Christ between 2-4pm during the day. A large line forms and each person or group can go up individually or together to look at the artifact.

I, Ellie, expected a dried up cloth but what we saw was much different. What we saw was a well preserved small cloth with red blood on it in a glass canister that was framed in gold. Who knows how they preserved it from way back when but it was incredible to see and heavy to think about. We were not allowed to take photos of the artifact but I snagged one from afar in a location we could take photos.

You will see in the background Jesus on the cross and below was where we were able to walk up and see the blood of Christ.
