Jacob booked a perfect campsite for us near a stunning lake in Vermont. After riding into the campground, we set up camp, gathered wood in the day light for the campfire later that night, bear proofed our campsite, and headed to dinner. We were warned that a momma and 2 cubs were lurking around the campground and very active in the area. They had been known to steal food and we were told that they came within 4 feet of people to do so...hence the bear proofing our campsite before leaving. Once we got back from dinner, we started a campfire and enjoyed the nice and relaxing fire.

After waking in the morning, Austin ventured over to our sidecar and asked us, "hey, do you all think these are bear prints?". Sure enough, they definitely were. We had a bear wanting a ride in our sidecar, ha! I picture the bear riding in the sidecar with goggles and a red scarf blowing in the wind. :) From the prints, the bear looked to be a good sized cub with paw prints about the size of my palm. That checks out with there being 2 cubs roaming the campground.
