We met up with Jacob (one of Austin's best friends) and David (Jacob's father) to spend a couple of days riding and camping. We rode most of the PDR which is an off-road route that runs north and south in Vermont. It was absolutely stunning! It meandered through the countryside, up mountains, and everywhere in between.

We saw all kinds of wildlife on the route...deer, raccoons, foxes, colorful birds, a bear, and rabbits. When we saw the bear, he was running along the ridgeline and then cut across the road about 50 feet in front of us! Austin and I chatted how sweet it would have been to swoop up the bear on my lap in the sidecar while he ran across the road. The likeliness of that happening safely is about slim to none. There were also multiple really neat bridges throughout the portion of the route we did.

Domino (our sidecar) does great on the off-road terrain (bumps / rocks / uneven, dirt roads) but when it comes to hills, he is a bit slow to accelerate regardless of dirt road or paved road - we knew this about him though. Austin and I jokingly called him the "hill muncher" throughout the route since the hills were definitely not Domino's forte...I mean, we made it fine, we just didn't accelerate like Jacob and David on their bikes.
