In Telefon Bay, we did a very unique hike that felt like we were walking on a gray version of Mars. We had all kinds of weather on the hike: snow, wind, rain, sun.. you name it, we had it! Overall though, it was a beautiful hike around various crater-like land masses. It also felt amazing to get out and move our bodies since we have been on the ship for a few days with not as much movement as we are usually used to. We did not expect to see wildlife since this landing is not known for wildlife, but at the very end of the trek, there was one penguin all alone wandering close to a small bay. The little guy looked extremely lost!
