We anchored the big ship near Trinity Island and unloaded the zodiacs for an excursion to the Iceberg Graveyard. Between Trinity Island and Spert Island, there is a small channel of water where icebergs get trapped thus, there are a concentrated amount of icebergs in one location. I didn't think much of it and didn't have too high of expectations but when we started the excursion into the channel full of icebergs, I was shocked! The icebergs were massive, the glow of the ice under the water was such a rich aqua, the seal's coloring was a stark contrast against the pure snow and ice. Some icebergs would bob and move, others were grounded to the ocean channel floor. Specific ice, depending on its density, was crystal clear. It was one of my favorite activities we had done so far!
