We made it to Tunisia after a bumpy 24 hour ferry from Genoa. Getting out of Genoa was an expensive nightmare because the ferry people made us pay for a car rather than a motorcycle for the ferry cost. We had called the ferry company in the past to get approval that Domino is classified as a motorcycle even with the sidecar but the guys that were helping us in Genoa were ruthless and wouldn't consider calling corporate, they told us: "I don't have time to help you, we need to keep helping the people in line". That argument may make sense if they were swamped but there were no people in line behind us... We went back and forth for almost 2 hours and decided to bite the bullet and pay the additional fee so we didn't miss the ferry. It was rather frustrating because we parked with the motorcycles and took up the same amount of space as a motorcycle so we are trying to claw back the additional fee with the company online now.

But hey! We made it to Tunisia safely and we are both happy! The passport check and customs after getting off of the boat in Tunis were so fluid and straightforward taking approximately 20 minutes. We both were expecting a few hours since that is what Morocco took so we were both stoked with how quick it was. Now we are off to adventure throughout this new country!
