We were in St. Anne, IL and it was over 100 degrees and humid out. We broke down on the side of the road and no more than 2 minutes after, we met Bob. Bob drove up from across the street, he was at his large shed. He offered us to work on our bike in his huge shed which had AC. ‘Shed’ may not be the proper term for his place but imagine a shed nearly the size of a football field..with AC! We took him up on it to say the least. Wow, that was a God send.

We chatted with Bob for a while and learned that he and his wife, Louise, run a big flowers operation and sell they flowers at multiple markets in Chicago. They have 15+ acres and sell their flowers from April until October, or until the first big frost hits.

After a bit of time, we believed we had figured out what was going on with our bike and ended up choosing to tow it into Chicago to a Ural shop since it is still under warranty and we were only a few days into the trip.

Flashback to meeting Rex and Rhonda in Kansas and the organization they told us about, CMA (Christian Motorcyclists Association) - Austin and I got in contact with the organization, CMA. We emailed the local group and they offered to tow us to Chicago the next morning! My goodness, what a blessing!

We ended up going out to dinner and spending a lovely evening with Bob and Louise! We also got a private tour of their flower farm and operations while learning all about the flower business. Thank you for your kindness, we appreciate you both!
