Today, we set off to explore the city of Bremen, Germany. We met Claudia about 25 seconds after parking our bike for the day in Bremen. She was quite curious about the bike so we chatted for 15-20 minutes talking about the trip and Bremen, her city. In the conversation, she asked where we typically stay and we shared that we camp quite a bit. She offered that we could camp in her garden / yard if we were interested and we said absolutely!

We ended up meeting her husband, Christof, and cousin, Ulli, as well. We had an amazing breakfast-brunch the next day all together. We learned all about their family and kids and plan to meet up with their son in Austria when we visit. They shared that there was a delicious ice cream shop out on a farm that was a nice bike ride away. Both Claudia and Christof are big cyclists and have multiple bikes so they offered us a couple of their bikes to explore for the afternoon so we set off for the ride and ice cream. It was incredible meeting all three of them!
