We just spent about 5 days in Hamburg and it was a quite nice to stay in one spot, not travel for a few days, and enjoy getting to know a city well. My middle and high school friend Megan lives here and we actually had not talked much since high school but about 6 months ago I noticed she lived in Germany so shot her a message letting her know we would be passing through and that we would love to see her if she was around. We ended up spending quite a bit of time with her and it was a blast and brought me right back to goofing off with her in high school. During our time, we walked the city with her and explore various neighborhoods, went bouldering in a WWII bunker that is now a modern day bouldering gym, shared some incredible meals, explored the harbor via ferry, lounged at the beach on Hamburg’s hottest day of the year, and so much more.

Outside of time with Megan, Austin and I explore parks, a massive walking tunnel under the harbor to connect the port to the city, a food market, and so much more. We loved Hamburg and seeing all the city has to offer.
