Grandpa on the farm

I got the news of my grandfather (George) passing away and was quite paralyzed. He was such an incredible man and I am so grateful to be his granddaughter. He is now reunited with our God after a peaceful passing.

Grandpa on the farm was a very hard working man, sharp as a whip, and a family man. I have so many memories running around the farm, playing with farm kitties and dogs, exploring the barns, watching all of the birds, restocking the birdseed, the list goes on. He was always there around the farm keeping everything in line and helping us kids have the time of our life!

Austin and I were able to visit my grandparents on our way across America before flying to Europe and I am forever grateful we got the couple of days with my grandpa (and my grandmas, too). He was the most chipper and joyful I have seen him and it was such a blessed time talking and spending time all together.

I am so sorry Ellie. It is indeed a blessing that you had those last moments with him, and that he got to see you happy and living life to the fullest. I'm sure that warmed his heart.
