Austin and I were able to spend a couple of days helping at UBC‘s summer camp. The church bought this camp when feeling called to but were not sure of the plans God had for it. All they knew was they were being called to purchase it. Quickly after they purchased the camp, the war broke out between Russia and Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees started to flood Romania. The church was able to use the camp to host refugees so it turned out to be an extreme blessing.

During our time of the camp, Ellie helped the other ladies deep clean the kitchen, complete laundry inventory, and generally take care of one of the main buildings. Austin and a few of the guys worked on revamping a different building. They guys worked on turning a bathtub into three toilets. They rerouted and redid the plumbing lines so they could create a full bathroom. He also did some drywalling work and some other odd jobs around the camp.
