We stumbled upon an Indonesian "rodeo" game on one of our drives days and pulled over after seeing a big crowd watching an event in a field. The name of the game (we think) was to ride behind the two cattle and have them split the post at the end. If you could control the cattle and guide them to split the post, you won. It was really fun to watch and also just a funny surprise to stumble upon on the road. Things like this are one of my favorite parts of travel: unexpected, random local activities to see.
