In Puerto Río Tranquilo, there are beautiful marble caves shaped by water (long long ago!) along the coast. The marble is a soft marble with few minerals. In the past, miners realized that extracting it is useless since there are no minerals in it. Fortunately now, the coastline and water are protected areas so no one can damage the natural beauty. The water in the lake was glowing and so stunning!!
