We "met" Tim and Marisa on Instagram (@2upandoverloaded) prior to actually meeting up with them in person in Kuala Lumpur. They are fellow motorcycle travelers also from the USA and YouTubers; they have been on the road since 2017!

We went out to dinner and drinks with them and also walked around the city at night to see the beautiful Petronas Towers and other city lights. Beau, Austin's friend from the USA, joined us as well! It was incredibly enjoyable to talk with them about travel and life, hear about their wild travel stories, and also share some of ours. They both had big extroverted personalities, were very animated, and have a deep love for adventure/travel (and motorcycles for Tim). They have written a couple of books, have an Instagram, a blog, and a YouTube channel so they are busy bees while traveling, it is impressive! They were also very relatable to talk with since we currently have similar lifestyles. I hope our paths cross again sometime soon, it was a really fantastic evening out with them!
