One of Austin's friends (Beau) from California came out to travel with us for a couple of weeks, it was so much fun having him here! Beau flew into Kuala Lumpur so we met up with him in the city. Our plan with Beau was to spend a few days in KL, fly to Kota Kinabalu for a couple of days, and then head to Gunung Mulu National Park.

The first evening after he arrived to KL, we thought it would be interesting to take a city walking tour. The city tour itself was below average but it was quite comical so we had fun with it anyways. The next day we went to Batu Cave which is a big cave with a Hindu temple inside of it. It is one of the more popular attractions to check out in Kuala Lumpur despite the country being a Muslim country. The next day, we jumped on a flight to Kota Kinabulu in Borneo to start a jungle adventure all together!
