We decided to find a formal campsite this evening which is out of our norm of typically finding wild camping in a national forest of some sort. I am so glad that we did!

I found a campground online, De Kleine Heerlijkheid mini-camping, that had a few reviews saying that it was family owned and a great time so we headed there to check if they had spots open. Once we got there, we met Hilde and Dirk, the couple that owned the campground, greeted us and asked if we would like tea or coffee so we had some tea with them and talked for a while. They have had the campground on their property for nearly 20 years and they mainly host RVs and a few tents. They had excellent restrooms/showers that were very clean and the grounds were green and lush, so beautiful. We had a blast getting to know them during our time chatting and they were so kind and welcoming to us. They were shocked that random Americans found their campground, we are sure happy we did!
