We spent a long weekend on the island of Penang specifically in the city of George Town. Penang in a huge island and in order to drive there, you take one of two bridges. One bridge is about 8.5 miles (13.5km) long and the other is about 15 miles (24km) long! Phew those were big bridges. Penang is known for their incredible cuisine and it sure lived up to the hype! There is a heavy Chinese population there and also Indian so we had all kinds of Chinese food, Indian food, and local Malay food. My favorite is always Chinese food, there is always an extreme punch of flavor.
