We stayed at a stunning yet *risky* campsite near a beautiful river. There was a rushing river with a rich, deep aqua blue color near the site and we found a calm area that was perfect for bathing, it was so refreshing!! The campsite was "risky" because we noticed the 'death thorns' once we got a couple of miles into the dirt road and to our spot. The thorns were everywhere and are infamously known to give people flat tires if you drive over one, yikes. They are thick and sharp and one even went through Austin's tennis shoe and punctured his foot! Thankfully we didn't get a flat on our way to or from the campsite, we were sweating a bit as we ventured off the next morning.
