Also in Sepilok, there is also a Sun Bear conservation facility. Sun bears live in SE Asia are very endangered mainly from poachers and also people wanting to trap them and keep them as pets. The bears reminded us of small black bears but had a unique body shape compared to your typical black bear. They also have a white/yellowish coloration on their chests that is unique to the Sun Bear. The one in this photo below is a sub-species that is only found in Borneo!
