We were able to drive to the top of a volcano to view the inside of it. There was no lava but there was some serious gas and smells coming from the volcano. People are only allowed to be in the viewing area for 5 minutes and then are required to drive away from the viewing area. I started coughing after about 3 minutes of being outside and realized why there was a time limit. Whatever we were breathing was not good for our health if it was triggering coughing attacks, yikes! The photos don't show the vastness of the crater but it was really massive and hot.
