We found a fantastic campsite walking distance to Lake Erie. We played in the water right when we got there and attempted to skip rocks but who knew Lake Erie would have such large waves which made skipping rocks pretty challenging. For dinner, we kept it simple and whipped up some turkey sandwiches at a picnic table overlooking the water and sunset, it was such a stunning evening! The camp area had a laundry facility so we also tossed in some laundry to refresh some of our clothes. It was such a peaceful evening listening to the waves and I might as well mention, it is not humid here so we are very stoked about that!!! The past week throughout IL, IN, and parts of OH were high 90s and extremely humid which made being outside the majority of the day exhausting and challenging.

We joked last night while camping on Lake Erie how we will always share how incredible the weather is whenever it isn't humid, ha.
